Doors
New project from Miles Aldridge -
Doors is an ambitious new series of five large-scale screenprints by Miles Aldridge. Vividly capturing the artist’s renowned use of colour, distilled in each piece through two vertical bands of contrasting tones. The glamours but aloof female, a classic Aldridge subject, is shown walking through the threshold of each of the vibrant doorways. With this simple gesture, Aldridge is able to evoke various conversations about transitions, the passage of time and the ambiguity of the human experience.
