We are delighted to have the opportunity to show this new body of work by London artist Suzy Murphy. Our exhibition includes all aspects of Suzy’s recent output – paintings ranging in scale from monumental to diminutive, works on paper, and a selection of small sculptures. Although she is perhaps best known for her paintings, Suzy has a very active printing practice – using printmaking in the service of her monoprints, that she then vigorously over paints. We have also included a group of small, seductive sculptures, which are being shown here for the first time. We hope that by including such a broad range of mediums, this exhibition will give a complete overview of this exceptional artist and her working practice.
