Paint and Plates exhibited a group of newly made plates and one new painting by London painter Suzy Murphy.
Murphy took a short sabbatical from her painting practice to make a series of one-of-a-kind plates. Each of these were moulded by hand and then painted with motifs that appear throughout her paintings.
This is Murphy’s first concerted endeavour with ceramics and the gallery were delighted to be showing them for the first time whilst also coinciding with London Craft Week.
