Sarah Graham | Love Affairs with Homes | Bunny Williams

Interior designer Bunny Williams’ new monograph ‘Love Affairs with Houses’ (Abrams) features a client’s home in Delaware where a pair of Sarah Graham’s striking blue iris ink drawings are the focal point of the room. ‘Coloured Iris I’ and ‘Coloured Iris II’, both 2009, frame a console table and mirror. This beautiful interior was also chosen for the cover.

Forbes magazine interviewed Williams about her favourite rooms in the book, one of which is the Delaware property –

“The entrance of a house outside of Wilmington, Delaware showcases a combination of interesting pieces of furniture. The long table came from a Paris flea market and is flanked by a pair of Swedish painted 18th-century chairs. It’s a long hall with a great volume of space and having furniture and artwork with a huge scale makes the space more intimate. I love the juxtaposition of the big table, the smaller chairs, the wonderful big botanicals by Sarah Graham and then objects like the elephant on the table.”
