Biography
Vera Klimentyeva studied at Moscow State University of Printing Arts and the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna. Her practice explores themes of identity, overidentification, religion, social roles, deconstruction and transformation.
Working across fine art and graphic design, Klimentyeva employs a diverse range of media and techniques, including printmaking, painting, photography and digital collage. Her works bring these varied approaches together to investigate how personal and collective identities are shaped, challenged and transformed. -
