Lyndsey Ingram is delighted to be bringing an exceptional group of early graphic work by Joan Miró (1893 – 1983) to TEFAF Maastricht 2025.

During the 1930s, in the shadow of the Spanish Civil War, Miro began to experiment with printing techniques including etchings and lithography. Each work is an investigation of light and space, colour and monochromatic line. Within these works, Miro experiments with a playful language which veers into figuration at points and at others remains a dance of pure abstraction.

The selection includes a number of impressions from the portfolio Album 13 (1948), which can be found in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and Signs and Meteors (1958) which is in the collection of the Guggenheim, New York.
