Stand 220

We are pleased to be presenting this new body of work by Sarah Graham, which is being exhibited across two London venues. The graphite drawings will be shown in our Mayfair gallery (June 22- July 29, 2022) and the coloured works will form a solo presentation on our booth at the Masterpiece Fair (29th June - 6th July, 2022).

Graphite drawings have long been an important part of Graham's work and we are delighted to have such a large and compelling group for this show. By contrast, the coloured examples mark a departure from previous work with the introduction of a new medium and compositions that fill the sheet.

Sarah Graham has taken the voluptuous form of the magnolia as her subject for this exhibition.  Although the works comprise the use of a single plant species, Graham manages to explore a series of different views so as to reveal an unexpected variety of monumental compositions.  The use of abstracted forms and enlarged scale paraphrase the natural world in a way that is both dramatic and surprising.
